Research Group and the Center for Complex Particle Systems
to conduct research, specifically on the subject of additive
manufacturing and the fabrication of complex metal particles.

Other Work/Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this position will be as follows:
-Fabricating metal particles using facilities in Prof. Thuo’s laboratory
-Facilitating the 3D printing particles and characterizing resulting
microstructures, mechanical properties and composition gradients
-Facilitating the 3D printing of complex metal particles to control
microstructure and mechanical properties.
-Conducting research relevant to the group’s focus of complex metal
particles, their microstructures, mechanical properties and beyond
-Assists in preparing presentations and writing proposals

Minimum Experience/Education

Master of Engineering in Materials Science &
Engineering or related field.
