Job Description:
Westchester Community College, Peekskill Extension Center, seeks Adjunct Faculty in Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) to teach immersive design, augmented and virtual reality for a non-credit course to teen students. The course will enable students to design, build, and code immersive experiences. Students will use programs such as Blender for modeling, Unity 3D, and C+.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university. Proficiency in programming and game design experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree and/or industry experience is preferred.
Additional Information:
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2025
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: The hourly rate of pay is $55.61. No benefits.
