Position Summary:
Actively partner with and support the HR Business Partner team in the effective administration of key HR business processes. Provide high level support by receiving, analyzing, researching and seeking resolution to assigned inquiries. Perform data analytics and identify trends in the data. Collaborate with HR team members to support data-related projects and initiatives. Generate a variety of reports and dashboards to present findings and trends to HR leadership. Ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day management of operational HR activities, plans and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Required Experience:
2+ years of relevant experience as a human resources generalist or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Experience:
1+ years Experience in a shared services environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to administer business processes and requests consistently with general supervision. Ability to assess problems and promptly resolve or identify appropriate team to resolve. Ability to gather, cleanse, normalize, analyze, visualize, and present data to obtain insights and make recommendations. Strong skills in Excel or other analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and identify trends. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and collaborate across the HR Strategy and Solutions Center and University Human Resources at all levels within and outside the organization. Strong time management skills and ability to manage individual assignments. Strong attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of the Workday HRIS system and reporting environment. Understanding of UHR and NYU policies and procedures. Familiarity with performance metrics and ability to meet identified targets. Working knowledge of service request management tools. Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office applications) and web-based applications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
