About the Role:
Leads a team responsible for developing and executing strategic Opinion Leader and Medical Marketing brand strategies, including medical marketing planning, product education, and promotional activities. Oversees the Peer-to-Peer Speaker Bureau, Patient Ambassador programs, and other educational initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing responsibilities such as program management and content development. Drive the development and implementation of company policies impacting patient and healthcare professional engagements, while also leading marketing initiatives across medical marketing for both patient and HCP audiences. Responsible for development of engagement strategies, building relationships with key influencers, ensuring compliance, and leading the development and execution of customer engagement plans to meet business objectives._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Medical Marketing:
Responsible for leading the delivery of core opinion leader and medical marketing messaging and campaigns for both patient and HCP audiences
Lead strategy, planning, execution and measurement of all patient educational conference promotional opportunities; submission and execution of congress contracts, review and submission of Needs Assessment Forms (NAF) to Legal; coordination of Promotional Review Committee (PRC) reviews for content and promotional materials
Manages P2P and Patient speaker programs with all responsibilities including managing the legal approval process, monitoring cap status report and amending speakers contracts as needed
Lead CAH P2P Task Force, P2P Champions, and Patient Ambassador/Education committee meetings and engagement training sessions for new account specialists
Manages relationship with medical education agency(ies) and coordinates with internal groups (field sales, field medical, patient advocacy and brand team) on medical education-related promotional activities to ensure strategic alignment across all stakeholders
Supports advisory board meetings in partnership with agency partners and internal marketing team
HCP and Patient Opinion Leader Engagement:
Leads team in prioritization of regional business opportunities: including pre-launch, launch and life cycle management
Holds team accountable for development of regional business plans for current Endo Franchise products in collaboration with key stakeholders
Guides team in executing peer-to-peer activities in the region including, identification of new regional thought leaders for consideration, attends programs, collaborates with cross functional partners to identify opportunities and execute programs, etc.
Participate in training, contracting logistics, program feedback, and relationship management of speakers
Manage and execute patient ambassador programs
Performs other duties as assigned
Launch and life cycle management
Holds team accountable for development of regional business plans for current Endo Franchise products in collaboration with key stakeholders
Guides team in executing peer-to-peer activities in the region including, identification of new regional thought leaders for consideration, attends programs, collaborates with cross functional partners to identify opportunities and execute programs, etc
Participate in training, contracting logistics, program feedback, and relationship management of speakers
Manage and execute patient ambassador programs
Performs other duties as assigned
BS/BA degree in marketing or life sciences and 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a marketing role for a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device company OR
Master's degree in marketing or life sciences and 8+ years of experience noted above
Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing and/or Account Management experience required
Strong communicator and skilled diplomat in all venues, including the ability to effectively combine scientific knowledge and communication skills (strong clinical acumen)
Experience working to implement marketing programs with measurable business impact
Experience operating in a field based promotional role (sales, thought leader liaison, field marketing etc.)
Expertise in managing and collaborating with multiple vendors and agency partners, including medical education agency, promotional agency of record, and patient engagement agency
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships with medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, and corporate communications colleagues
Previous managerial/functional management experience also required
Emerging as an internal thought leader with technical and/or business expertise
Applies in-depth knowledge of own area of expertise to solve problems
Applies in-depth understanding and may guide others on how own discipline integrates within the department as well as impact to other departments and understands contribution to Neurocrine's achievement of business objectives

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $165,100.00-$238,900.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
