In the Data and Systems Specialist role, you will support the Alumni Association (NDAA) through development, implementation, and oversight and administration of key systems including the myNotreDame platform, data analytics, reporting analytics, and more. You will collaborate with professional staff and volunteer leaders across our entire alumni network This position provides useful reporting and analytics tailored to the mission of the NDAA and the goals of its internal and external customers by collaborating with vendors and on-campus partners to identify and deliver solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- System Administration – Serve as the primary administrator of the NDAA’s community platform and web infrastructure. Act as the point of contact between the NDAA and our technology partners on development, testing, and implementation of new features in the software
- Data and Analytics – Using tools such as Tableau, identify useful analytics, create reports and dashboards catered to the goals and mission of each individual Alumni Association department and review data to identify potential issues and trends leading to improved system and customer performance
- Integration – Oversee coordination, execution, and validation of the integration between myNotreDame and the university’s CRM system, as well as facilitate manual API updates across multiple campus systems including Snowflake, Postman, and more to carryout NDAA operations
- Advisory Support – Provide guidance and support to requests from across the NDAA teams for data, events, and other programs to assist with their successfully delivery
- Project Management – Coordinate and lead technology projects within the NDAA through collaboration with counterparts across the university
- Support recurring NDAA Activities such as Reunion, Alumni Advisory Board, Leadership Conferences, Football Fridays, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years related experience
- Ability to think organizationally, conceptually, and strategically
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with data analysis and reporting using tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel, etc.)
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software application management, customization, and use
- Experience with Software configuration and testing
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web templating and other interactive web technologies
