The Clinical Pharmacy Manager will report to the Director of Pharmacy Services. To be successful, the Manager will be a strong communicator with significant inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop, maintain, enhance, and oversee the clinical pharmacy services consisting of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacist Specialists (Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, Oncology, Operating Room, Psychiatry and Transitions of Care), providing stellar patient care.
* Facilitate monthly site Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and actively engage in discussion and decisions at the system's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Council.
* Use an interdisciplinary approach to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the provision of quality pharmaceutical care and optimal medication utilization through cost effective and evidence-based practices.
* Oversee pharmacist training programs, including coordination of APPE student rotations, serving as PGY1 pharmacy residency director overseeing 4 residents, and supporting PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy, Psychiatric Pharmacy and Oncology Pharmacy residency programs.

- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
* Pharm BS or Pharm.D
* Minimum of three years in a progressively responsible clinical pharmacy position is required
Required Certification/Registration:
* Current CA Pharmacy license
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
* A minimum of five years of hospital experience and previous leadership experience preferred.
* Hospital practice residency preferred.
* Pharm D. degree preferred.
