Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the operation of patient services, retail sales facilities, catering operations, sanitation operations, and acts as a unit manager or production manager in their absence. The incumbent will also assist with training, mentoring, developing, and providing direction to junior counterparts. Independent responsibilities include operations management, customer service, leadership and cash handling. This position performs a variety of duties related to patient and retail food services. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Opening and closing operation in the absence of manager, management of cash deposits and safe, onboarding of new team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Three (3) or more years of relevant food/retail/sanitation experience.
- Experience and working knowledge in food service and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership experience, preferably in food service and/or retail industry.
- Must have valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $51,741 - $69,635 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $24.78 - $33.35
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
