Job Description
SENIOR EDITOR, Office of Communications, to oversee the entrepreneurship and future of work beats for MIT Sloan’s Ideas Made to Matter digital publication and help execute content strategy for the website, identifying, assigning, and editing work that connects global business leaders with actionable insights from MIT experts. Work is rooted in traditional reporting, writing, and editing, but also opportunities to communicate insights and ideas in new content formats and through new platforms and channels.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or another relevant field; a minimum of three years of professional experience editing or creating business, science, or technology content in a news or editorial environment; experience writing for digital platforms and with social media distribution in mind; and experience assigning to and editing staff writers and/or freelance writers. Salary range: $73,490 - $98,283 - $123,075, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
